Transsexual hormones at The Albany Gender Identity Clinic

Beard & Body Hair Removal

All transexuals and the majority of transvestites need to get rid of masculine hair, both on the face and body. Up until now the only method of doing so was electrolysis which is painful, restrictive (you can't shave closely during treatment) and very expensive. It can also all too often result in facial scarring.

The Clinic can offer an alternative which is easier, completely without pain and undetectable by others. Using powerful prescriptive medicine combined with an anti-androgen cream, hair growth gradually becomes lighter and finer as you move toward the downy growth pattern of a genetic female.

During treatment the texture of your skin is also feminised, whilst avoiding other transexual effects such as breast development. This treatment can also be safely used in conjunction with electrolysis should you be currently undergoing it.

Beard Retardent Cream

Beard Retardent Cream for transexual or transvestite men

Not to be confused with dipilatory creams, this special formulation, containing a powerful anti-androgen hormone combination, penetrates via the follicles to the root of the hair where it gradually weakens the strength of each individual hair.

This treatment, used regularly twice daily will gradually weaken the hair and new growth will become lighter and finer as it is transformed into the female pattern of light downy growth.

Although no contra-indications have been noted in clinical trials, we do not advise use on broken or inflamed skin tissue, or in conjunction with the use of steroid creams associated with the treatment of eczema. It is safe to use with electrolysis treatment, but omit on actual day of treatment.

Now you too can put your make-up onto a face as smooth as silk, and forget about shaving ever again. No more need of heavy foundation and powder, no more five o'clock shadow!

My best wishes and regards to all.'

Body Hair Retardent Cream

Removal of body hair for transexual and transvestite men

Unlike ordinary hair removal creams, which simply remove unwanted hair at skin level, this unique cream contains a complex blend of anti-androgens including the most powerful Cyproterone Acetate. This transdermal cream penetrates the hair root and gradually weakens the hair making it lighter and finer, transforming it into the downy growth pattern of a woman. Do not apply to broken skin or areas affected by eczema.
